Terms and Conditions, Policies

Sales: Spitfire Tackle sells to residents in Australia only. Spitfire Tackle does not sell or ship to any person or address external to Australia. If you unsure email info@spitfiretackle.com

Shipping:

  • All shipments are processed and dispatched via Australia Post and subsidiaries and/or third party providers.
  • Shipping fees and delivery times may vary depending on the destination and the shipping option selected during checkout.
  • Customers will receive a tracking number upon shipment to track the status of their delivery.
  • Shipments are subject to Australia Post’s terms and conditions of service and delivery.
  • Products will only be shipped once full payment has been received/cleared
  • We do not ship to address external to Australia

Payment:

  • Payment for orders placed through our website must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified.
  • We accept payment via major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as indicated during the checkout process.
  • All payments are securely processed through our payment gateway. No item/order will be shipped without full payment being received and processed.

Refunds and Returns: We stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase –

  • please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange for a refund or exchange.
  • Returned products must be in their original condition and packaging. Refunds will be issued in accordance with our refund policy.
  • The cost and arrangement of returning an item(s) is at the expenses and organisation of the person(s) retuning the item.
  • We do not refund for change of mind.

Warranty:

  • Products purchased through our website are covered under a 30-day manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Any warranty claims must be made directly with the Spitfire Tackle according to their terms and conditions.
  • We are not responsible for any defects or issues arising from the use of the product.
  • All warranty returns must be accompanied by full customer details, copy of invoice/receipt
  • The cost and arrangement of returning an item(s) is at the expense and organisation of the person(s) retuning the item.
  • We do not refund for change of mind.

Returns Policy

Spitfire Tackle want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free returns process. Please read the following guidelines to ensure a smooth returns experience:

  1. Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. It must also be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
  2. Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact Spitfire Tackle on info@spitfiretackle.com to obtain a return authorization (RA) number. Returns made without an RA number may not be accepted.
  3. Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product). We recommend using a traceable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  4. Refund Process: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 3 business days.
  5. Exchanges: If you need to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or style, please contact our customer service team to arrange for an exchange. Exchanges are subject to availability, costs might be incurred.
  6. Non-Returnable Items: We also do not accept returns on sale or clearance items unless they are defective.
  7. Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage or defect. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
  8. Change of Mind: We understand that purchasing decisions can sometimes change, and we respect our customers’ right to change their minds. However, as a small business, we are unable to accept returns for products simply due to a change of mind. Please carefully consider your purchase before completing your order.

 

 

Warranty Policy

At Spitfire Tackle we stand behind the quality of our products and offer a warranty to cover manufacturing defects. However, please note that our warranty excludes coverage for damage resulting from misuse or irregular use of the product. To clarify:

  1. Misuse: Misuse refers to any use of the product that goes against its intended purpose or recommended guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, using the product in ways that exceed its stated capabilities, subjecting it to excessive force or pressure, or using it for activities it was not designed for. Examples of misuse may include:
    • Using a fishing rod to pry open a stubborn door.
    • Submerging an electronic device in water despite it not being waterproof.
    • Using a knife for purposes other than cutting (e.g., as a screwdriver or pry bar).
  2. Irregular Use: Irregular use refers to any use of the product that deviates from standard or reasonable usage patterns. This may include using the product in extreme environmental conditions beyond its specified tolerance levels, or failing to properly maintain or care for the product according to the provided instructions. Examples of irregular use may include:
    • Exposing a camping tent to extreme weather conditions (e.g., hurricanes, blizzards) for extended periods.
    • Neglecting to clean and lubricate a firearm after each use, leading to premature wear and corrosion.
    • Allowing electronic devices to overheat due to prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
    • Using pliers to remove hooks from fish or snags
    • Not using the lure in the environment in which it was intended
    • Catching/targeting bigger fish than product was intended for (congratulations if you do by the way)
    • Soft Plastic or Hard bodied lures – yes fish do bite through them or can damage them simply by their fight or size. We wish all the fishing success, it does come with reasonable expectations.

Please note that instances of misuse or irregular use will void the warranty coverage for the product in question. Our warranty is to cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal and reasonable usage conditions.
